I have been attempting to update dopewars to a simplified debhelper v9
rules file and dh-autoreconf instead of the previous maintainer updated
autotools build files.

Using autoreconf I've run into a few issues and the latest has had me
take a break from looking at dopewars for the weekend. I will push my
current local dopewars branch this week and see if I can get some
advice for a fix from debian-mentors.
