The package appears to be lintian clean. It is warning, I:, and
pedantic free (except for a pedantic warning about upstream including
compiled source)

My motivation for maintaining this package is: This package was
requested by the GearHead maintainer in order to compile GearHead with
sdl support [1-3]. I'm also interested in using this for a high frame
rate medical imaging project (using the video/image components with an
existing piece of Pascal code that controls a microscope).
