Hi Richard,

IMWO it depends on the severity (and/or number) of the lintian issue(s).  A
standards version bump I wouldn't see it as worthy, while I personally think a
debhelper bump might if it is <= 4.

Anyway, to Paul's point, it is certainly worth fixing whatever else you can at
the same time. :)
