Well, my point was that the group of people who use Debian stable,
are unable to install stuff by themselves or to get someone to do it
for them, who also have the right to decide what needs to be
installed on system X, really care about one specific game _and_
don't know how to use the command line must be so tiny as to
be irrelevant

Very good point and something to keep in mind. I did not know stable
asked less questions (but then, I don't use it).
