Are you sure it's 64bit clean ? I tried to build upstream svn r1223 to
evaluate it and it failed to build on amd64 for me.

[ 91%] Building CXX object Extras/BulletMultiThreaded/CMakeFiles/LibBulletMultiThreaded.dir/SpuSampleTaskProcess.o
distcc[22532] ERROR: compile /home/yagisan/.ccache/SpuSampleT.tmp.doomguy.22528.ii on localhost failed
/tmp/bulletphysics/Extras/BulletMultiThreaded/SpuSampleTaskProcess.cpp: In member function ‘void SpuSampleTaskProcess::issueTask(void*, int, int)’:
/tmp/bulletphysics/Extras/BulletMultiThreaded/SpuSampleTaskProcess.cpp:133: error: cast from ‘SpuSampleTaskDesc*’ to ‘uint32_t’ loses precision
make[2]: *** [Extras/BulletMultiThreaded/CMakeFiles/LibBulletMultiThreaded.dir/SpuSampleTaskProcess.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Extras/BulletMultiThreaded/CMakeFiles/LibBulletMultiThreaded.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

http://code.google.com/p/bullet/issues/detail?id=34 indicates this is a
low priority for bullet. (ultimately why I chose to keep looking for
other physics libraries)
