Please, let's try to keep this discussion civil. I understand, from
your words, that you might possibly be annoyed by this kind of
discussions. I totally understand and respect your feelings. It might
also be positive if you wanted to tell us why and what exactly does
bother you so much, so we can try to avoid doing it. I can also see
that other people's concerns about this are totally sincere and
positive, and shall also be respected.

This is a Team's project, and we should try to do our best to work
together and be responsive to other one's concerns, as well as feel
free to share what we're worried about. The results are always better
when everyone's point of view is expressed and taken into account.
Please, to everyone in the Team, including myself, always try to avoid
saying that you'd stop contributing if some thing is done one way or
another. There might be an overall better result by expressing your
reasons, especially when nothing is decided one way or the other (and
even if it was, a decision can be changed).

If at some point in the future you're not happy with contributing to
something you don't share the same point of view with, of course
you'll be free to stop doing it, but saying it in advance puts an
extra emotional pressure over the person or group that need to reach a
decision which is not really positive to achieve the best result.

In fact I really really absolutely sincerely have no clue about
whether there is a problem or not, that's why I asked about it. If we
have a problem, it would be better to know and do something about it
before it gets bigger. If we don't have a problem, it will also be
positive to know to avoid future discussions.

Well, that makes sense, to add a note saying that. I don't really feel
comfortable at all with the idea of copying and pasting copyright
notices from other packages, it doesn't feel as a proper solution at
all.

Greetings, and thanks for your opinion Moritz,
Miry
