RFC: alien-arena and alien-arena-data (updated packages)

Hello Team,

This is more about the package alien-arena. The current package in the
archive makes some debugging packages. I want the next release to
support the use of the 'nostrip' DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS instead, thus not
releasing any debugging packages. It's mainly because of upstream's
use of the -fomit-frame-pointer gcc optimization option, making
debugging the current package rather difficult.

So now that debugging packages exist, how are they removed when
uploading a new updated package? Or does it get automatically done?
