I don't see much difference in doing it one way or the other, but I personally
prefer to have the list as the maintainer, and the people who carry the most
responsability as uploaders. If there's a bug report, do uploaders receive
mails too?

The commits currently go to a different list, so that problem won't happen :)

We decided some time ago to have one list for discussion, another one for
maintainership, bug reports and so, and a different one for commits, which is
what is there right now. I think the layout of the lists is quite good, any
other ideas?
