greetings list, first time poster

i'm kinda in the same boat, but i don't use ion, i use xfce or openbox.
but i also have 640x480, and i really dislike the assumption that
everyone has a screen that is 1024x768 or bigger - not everyone has
suhc, for whatever reason. to assume that people *do* have such a screen
size is leave those that don't out. it's stupid to feel that your a
second-class debian user just because your monitor doesn't support
1024x768 or more, or have the wherewithal to get one. let's not start
turning into elitists.
