(A straightforward table of 3 pages. Dated today (July 12th). I don't
really hover on the evms site, just followed the announcement link from
LWN.)

Nope, apparently not. EVMS is a standalone volume manager, and a nice
one. (Or at least the docs say it is -- I'll have to give it a try.)
