If you do find bugs please report them as development of the
specification is ongoing.

I'm pretty sure that the use of .lsb as the suffix for LSB compliant
packages did not make it into the 1.1 specification.

For the testing of distributions there is also a set of test suites
available. The test suites will be used as part of the compliance
testing of distributions.

Note: The packages is the beta directory are currently a bit better
than those in the released directory.

IIRC that used to work with earlier versions of alien. Its a very
simple package.
