For what I know the text fallback for non-graphical VTs is not in good shape, and even graphical integration is lacking on probably everything but luks password input and a nice animation. :-) (Thinks fsck feedback, system messages and system states like restart, hibernation…) I guess this is partly a chicken-egg problem: you'll get more feedback and patches once it is the default… so maybe making it so at the beginning of the buster cycle? -- cheers, Holger
