We've had some changes for a few days now in SVN, should we unapply
them, prepare this out-of-band, and pile up changes again, or will other
bugfixes be tolerated?

Patch looks great, and it saves a meg from the .deb. I expected more,
but we're using .svgs for everything, so they compress well anyway.

Are there adverse side-affects I should know about? All ports are OK
with this?

I've pushed it into SVN, with the other changes.

Cheers,
