Yves, thanks for the suggestion! I tried out some more lipstick (lol) and it really looks good!

* Debian Ciel got a bit of lipstick  Reintroducing the rather pinkish Debian logo by popular request.

* overhauled the wallpaper and other backgrounds; slightly more gradients
* SLiM theme!
* new and better KDM theme!
* GDM / KDM backgrounds now without disturbing logo (thanks to secipolla)
* new pinkish Debian icon
* added Xfce theming proposal

@Valessio - I like your theme, although you should maybe decrease the black around the borders a bit and make it

more into a ring form...

I present you "Debian Ciel", my theme proposal for Squeeze.
It is far from being ready or standard compliant, so feel free to
pinch in. Basically, most of the work done is only artwork.
I have little experience with making splash themes, gsplashes,
etc. Here is a vague todo list:

• SLiM Theme
• KDM Theme (anyone?)
• GSplash (is it just an image or also code? Can anyone help?)
• KSplash (OK, this one definitely has code. Anyone?)
• Boot splash code (Splashy, Usplash, Plymouth - I can't code any of those)
• CD sleeve
• move to SVN? How do I do that?
