I haven't tested it, but I've seen the screenshot. Why did you choose a
more or less blue background for a Debian? Maybe a more red one would
match more with the "corporate identity" of Debian :)
For text colors I can imagine black text with transparent background
for items wich were not highlighted and white text on black (or blue)
background for the selected one.

...but that's just my 2c...
