debian-installer is supposed to be interface-independent, and some people did 
some work in graphical interface, but there was few progress.
I'm not volunteering myself to do the work, sorry, I don't currently have the 
required time and knowledge. But maybe it could be worthy for you instead of 
working in a Yast installer (from my external, ignorant point of view).
