Agreed, Ubuntu for example is pretty hard to map onto such symlinks
because they have multiple supported releases at any one time.

The key here is to have some stable names rather than to have symlinks
named oldstable/stable/testing/unstable.

No, I mean http://ftp.debian.org style where you can see directory listings.

Standard GPG trust paths, maybe what we require for DMs. Not sure
where to go from there.
