I prefer not to receive mail duplicates since I store outgoing mail in
the same folder as incoming mail.

This setting seems to be something different people will have different
opinions on. I'm not sure how debbugs can support such settings, perhaps
a settings@b.d.o bot could be used to set these sort of things on a
per-email address, similar to usertags, or the control bot could have
another command added to set preferences.
