Well instead of passing the value for security mirror by command line..I tried setting it through my conf file..and I am success in creating an image for sid (skipping the updates)..

But unfortunately the kernel didnt went inside the image..and the log file says..

+ Trying to add linux-image-2.6-486...
    linux-image-2.6-486 Dep: linux-image-2.6.22-3-486
  linux-image-2.6.22-3-486 doesn't exist...
  linux-image-2.6-486 failed, couldn't satisfy dep on linux-image-2.6.22-3-486
Can't add linux-image-2.6-486 ... dependency problem.
WARNING: 'linux-headers-2.6-486' does not appear to be available ... (ignored)
WARNING: 'linux-image-2.6-686' does not appear to be available ... (ignored)
WARNING: 'linux-headers-2.6-686' does not appear to be available ... (ignored)
+ Trying to add acpi...

and am sure that the necessary linux-image-2.6-486 and linux-image-2.6.22-3-486 are all get downloaded in the pool..So because of this error its throwing an error "No kernel modules available" (when i try to install the iamge)

Am not clear what I am missing or where is the error..Is it because am trying to do with sid and should I wait for all the dependencies of the linux-image to get ready ..

Any suggestions..Thanks in advance..
