I just think that it would be appropriate to make the following points
for this thread:

1) Christianity is not the religion OF Jesus, but the religion ABOUT
him. Remember this when dealing with fanatics & zealots.
2) Most fanatics can't be reasoned with, especially from a philosophical
standpoint. You can only beat them by knowing their material better than
they do. 
2b) Even then, it will be a hollow victory.
3) Convincing people that you worship death/the devil/aliens can come to
no good if it's not the truth.
4) Belonging to something you believe in can give great joy. Don't take
that away from someone without good, just cause.
