Bug#994388: dpkg currently warning about merged-usr systems

Could you please give examples where such "selling as a feature"
happened?

Please point to somewhere where someone said the file disappearing bug
(w/ moving between packages & locations) is a feature or similar
things.

Well, the ctte was asked about the warning added[1]. It has so far not
chosen between available options, such as removal of these warnings. (I
think we do derivates a disservice if dpkg emits these warnings there.)

So talk about that when it happens?

As far as I can tell from the last meeting agenda, the technical
committee doesn't seem to see much technical issues with usrmerge.
