In response to the recent threads, I'd like to ask the tech-ctte to
please vote on and decide on the default init system for Debian.

There's been quite a lot of discussion and it's clear no consensus is
coming out of the discussion.

In addition, I find that developers care quite a bit (in both
directions), and dependencies / conflicts are only going to become more
common and serious for our users.

Having seen everyone's responses to this, and the TC decision in
727708, I think there is no useful work item represented by this bug.
Certainly nothing that should be on the TC's agenda.

So I'm closing this clone of 727708, which I made earlier.
