I believe that these two bugs now need to be discussed together, as the
time for #766708 to be resolved before Jessie has passed. We need to
find a solution which is workable for all parties concerned.
To that end, I assume all parties are OK with the CTTE stepping in and
working with everyone to resolve this. If that's not the case, please
speak up now, and suggest an alternative process.
