A Advise sysvinit compatibility through jessie, multiple init support
is the closest I can get (at least right at the moment) to capturing the
nuance of my proposal in one line.
On the other procedural matter, my intent is to produce a revised draft of
my wording incorporating the various suggestions people have made. When
I've done so (my intent is to do so today), I'll send that to this bug and
commit it to Git.
