OK, sorry, I didn't mean to bite your head off.

However, we do need a team with a better handle on Debian packaging
and the Debian release process, to take on the packages.  Without
maintainers we'll be stuck, and it sounds from what you're saying that
you (by yourself at least) aren't able to take on that role.
