Communications involving you (both to and from you, both correctly and
misinterpreted by both you and others) have been the crux of this matter
for months if not years. You need to improve the way you communicate with
people; but doing so will be a long and ongoing process and it will take
a long time for you to re-earn the trust of a number of other members of
the project, and I suspect for you to be comfortable trusting them again.

In the immediate term, that means it's necessary for you to interact with
those people in a way that does not rely on the trust that is simply no
longer there, on either side.

There is nothing humiliating about filing good bug reports with patches
and problem explanations, or making NMUs.

As dozens of list posts and copious lines of IRC logs can demonstrate,
you have not been silenced, nor has any notable effort been made to
silence you.
