As of now, the only package I have had problems cross building so far
was chatty, which your patch (thanks!) to pidgin should fix.
I'll be sure to post any further cross building issues I run in to here.
With the PinePhone and Librem 5 (arm64) mobile Linux devices striving
for mainline Debian support, there may be quite a bit of people trying
to cross build from their faster amd64 machines.
