Yes, that's a major purpose of the list. We're here to guide you. The
issue with uncoordinated bugs is that they pose work on maintainers and
that tends to reduce acceptance of cross build support.

All of the following is appropriate on the list:
 * Explain your cross build issues and ask for help.
 * Propose solutions to cross build issues and ask for review.
 * Send patches to the bts with "X-Debbugs-Cc:
   debian-cross@lists.debian.org" to have us review your patches.

A number of frequent issues are documented at
https://wiki.debian.org/CrossBuildPackagingGuidelines.

A fair number of remaining issues are hard to solve.

In general, you should start looking at
http://crossqa.debian.net/src/$sourcepackagename to avoid duplicating
work. Properly usertagged bugs will be displayed there.

You're welcome to help. In particular, combining your domain-specific
knowledge (i.e. packages you know very well) with this list tends to
produce new solutions.
