Short summary of Cloud Team BoF session during DebConf 2019. Full log can be found using Gobby, at gobby.debian.org under debconf19/bof/CloudTeam Many of below topics were worked on during our sprint, in October 2019 in Cambridge, USA. We discussed about workflow and pipeline for building images we publish. Ne need better CI and documentation of it. The most important it to spread knowledge of all those processes and settings On more wider topic - we need to better communicate who is working on what and which topics and problems are solved. We need more monitoring of processes which build those images, especially for (unexpected) changes and failures. Moving OpenStack building process to use FAI. Need to ensure current existing functionality is preserved. How we want to publish to OpenStack providers? Push binary images to them or publish RSS and let them download images at their own convenience? We should sign those images (and feed we publish). Image finder and its hosting. SPI Debian account status, Buster images at AWS. Vagrant and Docker images; so far not done by members of the Cloud Team. Other images - we should promote that we use FAI to build images and that everyone can use the same code to build their own custom images (that's why we've chosen FAI).
