Hi Asheesh, Yeah it's a shame that we have this 'regression' (which in real is not a regression but can be a bit annoying for some people) but we needed this clean up to be 'Official Debian'. I think a way to go is to build your own vagrant image based on main Debian one, just customised to your needs and host it on your own account.
