The Clojure CLI tool (and tools.deps) supports Maven repositories hosted on S3. The cognitect aws packages are used to make calls to S3 to get pom,jar, etc artifacts from these Maven s3-backed repos. The cognitect.aws libraries make direct AWS API calls.
