Re: Autopkgtest fails on openvpn-auth-ldap (related to: #1001669)

Hi,

In debci I'm not sure, but the tests passed fine in the previous release cycle 2 years ago. The first report of a failed test was December 2021.

It seems flaky to me since about we run on bullseye hosts...

In Salsa, the test passed on January but it failed last week, without making any changes neither to the source code or the test.

And the problem with flaky tests is that you can be lucky or unlucky, but it doesn't tell anything about the changes you made.

E.g.
https://ci.debian.net/user/britney/jobs?package=openvpn-auth-ldap&;
trigger=migration-reference%2F0&suite%5B%5D=testing&arch%5B%5D=amd64
has the first "recent" failure on 2021-09-05 08:44:09 UTC with version 2.0.4-1. Given the timing, that may have been after some gcc update.

On arm64 [1] the first failure in pure testing I see on 2021-10-08 20:21:26 UTC.

On i386 [2] the test nearly always fails since 2021-08-19 10:32:50 UTC.

On ppc64el [3] I'm not seeing any failures.

On s390x [4] it failed twice, first time on 2021-04-20 17:41:17 UTC, but s390x always ran on a bullseye host.
