Bug#976049: ros-ros-comm: autopkgtest regression: No rule to make target '/usr/lib/<arch-triplet>/libpython3.9.so'

Source: ros-ros-comm
Version: 1.15.9+ds1-1
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Severity: serious
User: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Usertags: regression

Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent change in testing (I believe the support of Python3.9) the
autopkgtest of ros-ros-comm started to fail. I copied some of the output
at the bottom of this report. I'm not into the details of how the python
packaging works, but you seem to be missing a (test) dependency
somewhere. libpython3.9.so is provided by libpython3.9-dev. Can you
please investigate the situation and fix it?

More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on
