All of these variables are automatically set when you use
/usr/bin/xcinterm-big5. Use it. :-) I made some updates to make the
script a bit smarter, so please download xcin_2.5.2.2-1 from unstable.
(It is not in testing yet.)
BTW, yes, there is also a /usr/bin/xcinterm-gb.

Actually, no. XMODIFERS=@im=xcin is correct. The Debian ZH faq is wrong.
:-) I tried XMODIFIERS=@im=xcin-zh_TW.Big5 some time ago, and it turned
out that it didn't work. I thought both would work, but my assumption was
wrong. Sorry, I haven't asked Saka to fix the FAQ yet. My fault. :-)
