Several newbie questions



1. What is the differences between (woody) freeze begin and offical final 
release? (woody) is equal the the stable version?

2. Any websites that talks about the following:
   a. Special packages that existed in Debian, inclduing the advantages, 
      functions, etc.
   b. package names for apt-get, it always said not found or no such packages
   c. references of Debian

3. I have tried to install the display driver but fails and the following is 
the screen capture:

I have tried to run "apt-get install gtk" and fail due to no such packages.

4. How to change the system from testing/unstable back to stable?
