New Debian sparc Packages

These sparc packages were installed into the Debian hierarchy in the
last week:

----- MEDIUM Urgency Packages -----------

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 1.1.14 -> 1.1.15 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (1.1.15) unstable; urgency=medium
  * dh_installmanpages: the new perl version had a nasty habit of
    installing .so.x library files as man pages. Fixed.
  * dh_installmanpages: the code to exclude searching for man pages in
    debian/tmp directories was broken. Fixed.

----- Low Urgency Packages --------------

alien - Install Red Hat, Stampede, and Slackware Packages with dpkg.
alien 6.15 -> 6.16 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/admin
alien (6.16) unstable; urgency=low
  * When converting from .tgz files, use arch: all. Sort of a hack, but
    since we don't know what arch of stuff is in them, it's as good a
    guess as any. This will let people use the conversion on other
    architectures. (#26253).

alien - Install Red Hat, Stampede, and Slackware Packages with dpkg.
alien 6.16 -> 6.17 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/admin
alien (6.17) unstable; urgency=low
  * Rebuilt with debhelper 1.1.15 so that patches arn't installed as man
    pages.

auctex - An integrated environment for writing TeX/LaTeX documents.
auctex 9.9b-4 -> 9.9j-1 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/tex

bug 3.1.6 -> 3.1.6.1 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/utils
bug (3.1.6.1) unstable; urgency=low
  * NMU to fix two problems:
    - typing bug w/o a package name did not present the list of
      pseudo-packages you can file bug reports on.
    - the generation of the dependancy list was failing.

cvs-buildpackage - Debian package scripts for CVS source trees.
cvs-buildpackage 2.03 -> 2.04 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel
cvs-buildpackage (2.04) unstable; urgency=low
  * Removed most unneeded eval invocations from the scripts. Thanks to Ian
    Jackson for piting this out.
  * Make dpkg_options a Bash array variable, so that one can
    transparently pass arguments off to dpkg-buildpackage. Without this,
    we were splitting up spaces in arguments while passing it to
    dpkg-buildpackage. closes: BUG#26237
  * Moved the verbose help section in cvs-upgrade to the front, so that
    error messages during upgrade do not get lost.
  * Document that conf_dpkg_options is also an array variable now.

cvs-buildpackage - Debian package scripts for CVS source trees.
cvs-buildpackage 2.04 -> 2.05 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel
cvs-buildpackage (2.05) unstable; urgency=low
  * cd to the working dir for cvs-buildpackage to work around a bug in
    CVS. closes: BUG#26251

debhelper 1.1.12 -> 1.1.13 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (1.1.13) unstable; urgency=low
  * dh_installmanpages: rewritten in perl. Allows me to fix bug #26221 (long
    symlink problem after .so conversion), and is about twice as fast.

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 1.1.13 -> 1.1.14 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (1.1.14) unstable; urgency=low
  * Debhelper now has a web page at http://kitenet.net/programs/debhelper/
  * Added code to debian/rules to update the web page when I release new
    debhelpers.
  * dh_compress: since version 0.88 or so, dh_compress has bombed out if
    a debian/compress file returned an error code. This was actually
    unintentional - in fact, the debian/compress example in the man page
    will fail this way if usr/info or usr/X11R6 is not present. Corrected
    the program to not fail. (#26214)

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 1.1.15 -> 1.1.16 into dists/slink/main/binary-all/devel

  * Moved to use 'libdbi-perl' instead of libmsql-perl, which means that
    one can use mySQL (or perhaps even PostgreSQL) instead of mSQL which
    is pretty slow...
    .
    This means different depends, different post{inst,rm} and some changes
    in the config file.
      New options:
        ENGINE => Which database engine should we use?
        CHECK_LOCAL => Should we ever check connections FROM us?
        VERIFY => How often should we check that the link is really up?
      Changed options:
        SERVER => Now includes the port to the SQL server to.
    .
    Ask more questions in the postinst and tcpquotaconfig, so that the
    system is more workable 'out-of-the-box'...
  * Some bugfixes in the library.
    Somehow, somewhere the who and w output changed. If we are running
    in a screen or X, we don't get the hostname if local any more, just
    '(:0:S.2)' for example...
    .
    Check the last three minutes worth of masquerading connects instead of
    the last PERIOD sekonds..
  * Fixed some bugs and added some options in the main daemon.
    Support for a permanent link, no need to check any online and the like.
    We can still use TCPQuota for logging connections... Yeah, right... :)
    .
    Support for checking ProFTPd connections... ProFTPd announces it's presence
    a little different than wu-ftpd... This time I think I made it more
    universal... Nock on wood... :)
    .
    Fixed (?) the problem with the disconnection from the SQL server.. Have
    something to do with signals.
    .
    If the 'Net link was down, 'openhost' just sat there, doin' nothing. Fixed.
  * In 'openhost', don't close the firewall or notify the user incase he/she
    is on the 'free' list...
  * Support both libc5 AND 6, just incase ([uw]tmp files differ, so does
    the 'include' files...)
  * More (better ?) online help.
  * Use debhelper.
