Re: bleeding-edge kernel to detect devices the 1.2.13 kernel doesn't find
I had the same problem as I never could read on my Mitsumi CD. How should I
then do when I have fetched the new disks? Run installation scripts in
Boot/root pair as i did on my fresh system? Won't that ruin my already
installed packages?
Or should I just create a new boot diskette using this new boot/root pair?
By the way, I always boot from diskette, and keep having a 1.4Mb ramdisk. Will
this then disappear if I make a new boot diskette with the new system? (I
remember this was discussed earlier, but I lost track of the answers)
