Bug#547418: Lenny files on cdimage.d.o: consistency of naming scheme, matching the release version

Package: cdimage.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

(I don't really know which is the best package to report on between
cdimage.d.o, debian-cd, cdrom. Pseudo-packages description doesn't help
that much).

While update CD/DVD are named debian-update-5.0.3-$ARCH.something, other
images are named debian-update-503-$ARCH.something.

The later naming scheme may confuse people, who might think it is version
503 while it will be released only within 500 years.
And moreover, it is not consistent with the naming of update CD, an
other opportunity to confuse people.

So unless there is a good reason to remove full stops from only some
filenames, please consider naming images
debian-5.0.3-$ARCH-something.iso so that it match the release version.

Best regards.
