Thanks a lot (really!) for your answer...I knew it was a bad idea to ignore these errors but...Didn't have many choices. I'll feel a bug report. Do this option (save logs) appear during the install process ? One last thing : do you think that this problem could come from a bios setting in anyway ? I found somebody on the net who solved a freeze of the Ubuntu installation at the "Starting Enterprise Volume Management System" stage with this motherboard by enabling the ACPI 2.0 management in the Bios... Sorry to disturb you...I imagine you have a lot of work and and no time to spend on these kind of problems...
