Re: Problems instaling kFreeBSD in amd64 VM

Hi Rich

Here it is...

# Debian GNU/kFreeBSD "Jessie" 8.x amd64
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian jessie-kfreebsd main contrib non-free
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian jessie-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian jessie-backports main contrib non-free
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian-security jessie-kfreebsd/updates main contrib non-free

Last try today, I upgraded all packages and worked like a charm.

It happened in past, and could happen again, that httpredir.debian.org points out to a mirror which has decided not to host a copy of "jessie-kfreebsd".
This is a bad behavior of the mirror, but we cannot impose it to do.
The simplest solution, is to try again to apt-get install, as the next try point out to another mirror and the majority of the mirrors now have jessie-kfreebsd.

As a reminder for me, and hopefully for others googling around, I posted this informations on my blog http://decadence.it/debian-gnu/kfreebsd

Enjoy the upgrade! ;)

Thanks.  The debian-jessie-DI-rc3-kfreebsd-amd64-CD-1.iso file from the above directory allowed me to do a successful installation.

But, now, what repositories should I use in /etc/apt/sources.list in order to install packages or do upgrades?
