I notice that the Linux UFS driver in the Debian kernels is compiled with UFS2 write support disabled. This would appear to be because write support is considered experimental. However, it would apppear that it's been like this since *at least* 2009. Does anyone know what the current status of the UFS2 write support is? Is it considered safe enough to use? If so, would it be worth changing the Linux Debian kernel to enable it, which would vastly aid interoperability between Linux and kFreeBSD? -- ┌─── dg@cowlark.com ───── http://www.cowlark.com ───── │ │ life←{ ↑1 ⍵∨.^3 4=+/,¯1 0 1∘.⊖¯1 0 1∘.⌽⊂⍵ } │ --- Conway's Game Of Life, in one line of APL
