That's fine as long as we don't have any external dependencies. Did you
already remove the grub reverse dependency? If so, we may just do that
like you suggested, as long as the only dependencies remain within the
glibc-bsd repository, as we can't expect other people to know about that
requirement.

This won't work of course if we have to maintain libzpool/libzfs as
public library, e.g. for grub.

Agreed.


I will work on zfsutils and doing as you suggested above as soon, as you
told me about the state of the grub reverse dependency.
