before translation work can start, there are some administrative tasks to
be done.

First, let me say 'Welcome to the team'!

And then: it has been a long time since new languages were added to the
installer, and the people who set up the system around that are no longer
active these days, so we will need to see how it goes.

As a guideline, we have an internationalization manual here:
https://d-i.debian.org/doc/i18n-guide/
putting together some things you might want to know.

Especially chapter 3 is of interest for you:
https://d-i.debian.org/doc/i18n-guide/ch03.html
which describes the so-called "New language process", a list of things that
need to be done before we start the real translation work.
We will need to go through this process together.

Before that, some questions please:
Do you have some knowledge on the used fonts in your language? Which fonts
do you prefer?
If I read correctly, Moroccan Darija is also called Moroccan Arabic, so
do you use the same or similar glyphs as Arabic does? With right-to-left
direction?
I hope you are prepared for a lot of translation work? (since the installer
has much translatable material)

Under https://d-i.debian.org/doc/languages.html you can find a list of the
currently supported languages in the installer.

So long
Holger
