Bug#920475: console-setup: setupcon man page on caching
Package: console-setup
Version: 1.188
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man1/setupcon.1.gz
The setupcon man page DESCRIPTION section could helpfully have a few
words about its caching. Maybe like, if it's actually true, and perhaps
there's more or better to say,
Keymaps, fonts, etc, for a configuration can be cached in
/etc/console-setup. The default configuration has this so ready at
boot time. The "--save" options can do the same for variants, for
say faster switching. Cached data is regenerated when a
configuration file is newer than the cache.
