Hello,
I just wanted to give you a short heads-up: the issue has been
diagnosed further and it looks like the actual source of the
gigabit problems is probably a hardware erratum in the rtl8211cl
phy chip.
A software workaround is being worked on; if everything works out
as intended, it should be possible to run the board on gigabit
ethernet links at native speed, i.e. switching down to 100MBit
would then not be necessary.
