Is there a way to put debian-501-amd64-i386-powerpc-netinst.iso or later
inside an USB stick so that the USB stick may be used to install either
Debian/i386 or Debian/amd64?

If so, it would be great if the install guide explains how to do that.

I tried putting the vmlinuz and initrd.gz files for i386 and the
multiarchitecture iso image, but the installer seems not to find it.

Maybe this is just a regular expression problem?

Next thing would be to provide a syslinux.cfg with a simple menu to
choose between i386 and amd64.

Another useful addition would be that the install manual says how to
prepare the USB stick so that it starts the installer in expert mode.
It seems this is everything which is needed for that:

default vmlinuz
append priority=low initrd=initrd.gz

Would be nice to see that in the install guide.

Thanks.
