Package: archdetect
Version: 1.100.0.exp.1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Petter,

I'm not sure why you thought it would be a good idea to mix renaming
and reusing udeb/deb package name, but one thing is pretty clear: you
never tested a d-i build using those udebs. You would have otherwise
noticed the mess you created. I'm not even going to ask about runtime
tests…

Please unbreak!

KiBi.

Architecture: source amd64 all
Version: 1.102
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: Debian Install System Team <debian-boot@lists.debian.org>
Changed-By: Cyril Brulebois <kibi@debian.org>
Description:
archdetect - Hardware architecture detector (udeb)
disk-detect - Detect disk drives (udeb)
driver-injection-disk-detect - Detect OEM driver injection disks (udeb)
ethdetect - Detect network hardware and load kernel drivers for it (udeb)
hw-detect - Detect hardware and load kernel drivers for it (udeb)
Closes: 761135
Changes:
 hw-detect (1.102) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Revert the archdetect vs. archdetect-udeb change (Closes: #761135).
     Reasons include:
      - Disruptive changes are not welcome so late in the release cycle
(especially when little to nothing has to be gained).
      - No tests have been performed, since debian-installer starts
        failing to build from source.
      - Reusing a package name for a different package-type is a recipe
        for disaster.
