Package: debian-installer

Hi.

Trying to install wheezy on a Lemote Fuloong using the netinst daily
builds at:

http://d-i.debian.org/daily-images/mipsel/daily/loongson-2f/netboot/

I found the installer did not include the r8169 driver necessary to see
the network card on this system.

Copying r8169.ko from the wheezy linux-image loongson deb and packing
it manually into initrd made the system see the network card and allowed
the install to continue.

This was fixed a while ago in the linux source package, which builds the
udebs used in d-i:
| linux (3.2.23-1) unstable; urgency=low
…
| [ Arnaud Patard ]
| * [mipsel] add r8169 to d-i udeb.

I've also checked it's indeed present in current packages:
| kibi@arya:~$ dpkg --contents
| /home/kibi/downloads/nic-modules-3.13-1-loongson-2f-di_3.13.5-1_mipsel.udeb|grep r8169.ko
| -rw-r--r-- root/root 150432 2014-03-07 12:05 ./lib/modules/3.13-1-loongson-2f/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/realtek/r8169.ko

so closing this bug report.

Mraw,
KiBi.
