Comments/Problems: The install ran correctly thru to the end, then went to boot the system and it doesn't boot. It displays the ThinkPad screen that says "ThinkPad - To interrupt normal startup, press ENTER". Pressing enter does nothing, the screen seems to be frozen. There's no other menu or the grub so I don't know how to even get to any type of prompt to access the system and go into rescue mode. I even tried to boot with the install DVD in the drive, and it does the same, only displays the ThinkPad screen and then hangs. My laptop is brand new it had Windows 7 Pro installed on it and I wiped that and just loaded Linux (ie no dual boot). The ThinkPad screen it is displaying is what use to display when I had Windows on it.

<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
and ideas you had during the initial install.>
