Bug#692475:

Package: installation-reports

Boot method: The installator was boot from a USB stick
Image version: Weekly amd64 build CD
Date: 5 november 2012 - 15h30 GMT+2

Machine: Dell Precision T1650
Processor: Intel Xeon
Memory: 16 GB RAM, 2*1TB SATA Disk
Partitions: Installation didn't finish

Résultat de lspci -knn (ou lspci -nn) :

Installation du système de base :
[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Initial boot: [0]
Detect network card: [E]
The card was not detected at all. It didn't work out on this computer
newly bought but as well as another one with debian already installed
on it and without any network card related problem. It seems to me as
a regression not found in the beta3 installer
Configure network: [ ]

Comments/Problems:

It seems that a regression occurs between the beta 3 installation
(going on as now without any problem apparently. At least a lot less)
for at least the network.
As I tested with this CD, RAID installs seems to be not possible (it
does not recognize new hardware, that work with beta3 install) but I
did not tested the installation very far. It should tested again to be
sure.

Best regards and thank you for the good work !
Florent
